Terms of Use

By using GurePintxo, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

GurePintxo is a directory of pintxo bars belonging to the Euskadi Gastronomika product club, with map, favourites, custom routes, user reviews and community-suggested bars. The app is run by Sergio San Pedro Alvarez (contacto@gurepintxo.com).

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account and use GurePintxo.

• You must provide truthful information when signing up.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• Creating accounts in order to impersonate another person or business is not allowed.

When you write a review or upload a photo, you keep ownership of that content, but you grant us permission to display it within the app together with your username and profile photo.

Reviews must:

• Reflect your honest opinion and your real experience at the bar.
• Not contain offensive or defamatory language, spam or illegal content.
• Not infringe third-party rights (for example, photos that are not yours).

Any user can report a review they consider inappropriate. Reports are reviewed by the GurePintxo administration, which will decide whether the review is kept or removed.

We reserve the right to remove content that breaches these rules and to suspend accounts that repeatedly breach them.

• Official bars: their data comes from Open Data Euskadi (Basque Government) and is reused in accordance with its licence. Source: Open Data Euskadi, Basque Government (CC BY 4.0 licence).
• Community-suggested bars: they are located using Google Maps. Each suggestion goes through a review process before being published, and we do not guarantee that every suggestion will be accepted.

You may not:

• Try to access other users' data without authorisation.
• Use the app for purposes other than those intended (for example, mass data scraping).
• Interfere with the normal operation of the app or its servers.

GurePintxo is provided "as is". We do our best to keep bar information up to date, but we do not guarantee that the data (opening hours, address, etc.) is always accurate; we recommend confirming directly with the bar if in doubt.

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile. When you do, your personal data, your routes and your favourites are deleted. Your reviews, their photos and the bars you have suggested are kept anonymously and appear as "Anonymous". In the app you can only delete your reviews: if you do not want them kept, delete them before deleting your account. To have the bars you have suggested removed, write to us at contacto@gurepintxo.com. You will find more details in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
